Woke up at 3 across the river because it was so constant my sleeping body interpreted it as daylight.

Been watching ever since.

Just a quiet drizzle here now.

Not by the interstate. I'm sure there is by the river though. If I hear anything I'll post. I have to get on the interstate to MS at around 7. Should be fine by then. But I'll give a travel update.

That's why I have blackout curtains in the bedroom. I can sleep through just about any kind of noise but light will wake me up.

Woke up to no electricity. Heading out to work and found out why. Neighbor coming with a tractor to clear this shite out.

Tell your neighbor that is a nice gesture but it's not worth getting electrocuted over.

Lightning and Thunder was pretty impressive here in H'ville around 4:30 am. Hope the rain is less than they predicted, have my niece's wedding rehearsal on Canal St. this evening then the dinner at Ralph's on the Park. Have to drive the in-laws there since they are afraid of driving in NOLA in this weather.

Stay safe double d.

Make sure y'all hop in that Nitro bass boat if the water gets too high.

Any forecast for us in Hammond? We are about 3 inches from water in the house just north of southeastern.
