NOLA getting it pretty good right now, lots of lightening in Metairie right now, just the start of it here...power outages in mid-city near Orleans and Carollton

Yea, and lightening sounded like an explosion went off about 25 minutes ago that made me go from sound asleep to WTF IS HAPPENING mode.

I live on the top floor of a shitty old apartment and there's about 0% chance I fall back asleep with it like this.

Yeah I'm in NOLA and just got woken up out of a deep sleep. Shits getting real outside. Lightning every other second, sideways rain.

This line of storms is very intense. Hope it passes quick. How widespread is the power loss?
