I gotta go to Nola tomorrow. Am I gonna be trapped? Any need for concern if I head back to BR by 3?
Just really depends where at in NOLA. Some streets flood pretty damn bad, but most of the city deals with lots of rain well.

As long as you aren't around Elmwood on Clearview you should be fine.

You were going to be fine, but I'd advise staying indoors now.

The curse is real friend. It is funny on the MSB, but you can't mess with peoples' lives.

Is Friday going to be terrible for the Nola area? I need to drive from Mandeville to Morgan City friday morning

Pj, in all seriousness...why do you even post in these threads?

Not sure, I think Friday and Saturday are when the weather should get bad in the NOLA if you extrapolate the rainfall totals from the next 3 days.

I work in Elmwood on Dealers. My lord. Even during a small summer shower the streets flood to the sidewalk. It's nuts.

I don't mess around when it comes to the weather... The MSB is just for fun and I like messing with yall.. But Mother Nature is nothing to laugh at....
I knew they were going to keep backing thesestorms because of how slow the system was moving and in which direction... The people in North La are going through hell. And its not over yet.... Baton rouge will get MAYBE 5 inches of rain... Since the weekend everyone was saying 5-8 inches or more... Thursday and Friday will be really wet.. I see nothing that indicates any tornado activity those two days. I won't rule out a few heavy T-storms, but it won't be as bad as it was two weeks ago..........

I'm driving from Ruston to Baton Rouge tomorrow morning. What would be the best time to make the 4 hour drive as safe as possible??
I think there has been lots of flooding along US 167 between Ruston and Jonesboro.
If Arcadia isn't flooded I would take LA-9 south to Campti then head to Natchitoches and get on I-49 there

Because weather is amazing and if I happen to help someone by staying or going somewhere,it makes me feel good....

Yes. It looks like Cenla will get its share still, but North La needs a break

I would not plan to make that drive on Friday. I'm thinking we are going to get it bad here come Friday morning.
