Would I be better suited to making my Ruston-BR drive on Friday morning as opposed to Thursday morning?
Posted on 3/9/16 at 8:05 pm to 225bred
I wouldn't drive into BR on Friday if they were handing out $100 bills and blowjobs around every street corner, much less a Friday when they are getting 6-10" of rain.

I-49 does real well with water in that area. It's between opelousas and lafayette that I-49 really struggles.
Thanks for the info.

Peej are you and yours safe from the flooding and tornados?

DOT Traffic Info
Shows road closures.
But its not guaranteed that roads that aren't closed on the map are open.

I would think so...But you never know about a twister... I feel very strong that from Br to NOLA there won't be any tornados... Just a lot of rain and wind... Places that usually flood will, probably more than usual...

Ouachita Parish is a total no go... It is a cluster frick of epic proportions here....very few, if any, roads that aren't under water...

Arcadia is one of the worst hit areas-- prolly can't get through there
Posted on 3/9/16 at 8:45 pm to msutiger
What time are you supposed to leave and get there?
Posted on 3/9/16 at 8:46 pm to theenemy
Leave around 10-11 and whenever I get there
