I was thinking I could go east on I20 and then coming down I55 in Mississippi. The radar has them getting it a lot easier than us

Take 167 to Alexandria, then 84 over to Hwy 61 to BR.

From the looks of things now, steer clear of Ouachita Parish. I'd also be concerned about the low-lying areas on I-20 from Monroe to the state line.

Any flooding? I went to school there for a year. I lived on west Barnett springs when I was there. Almost on the corner of west Barnett and tech drive.

You think they would close the interstates because of this?

Damn, you sound like you know what you're talking about.
It doesn't help I'm in a 2 door sports car, any high water and I'm toast

That's good. Where I lived was right at the top of the hill. Glad the city is ok.

If I'm not mistaken, I-20 is closed in multiple spots already, and there were reports of issues on I-49.

I-49 does real well with water in that area. It's between opelousas and lafayette that I-49 really struggles.

You were going to be fine, but I'd advise staying indoors now.
