Man rammed door of Target with silver Small SUV. Jumped out, dropped package on floor saying something about a bomb, and exited. He was armed, but no shots fired.

Also incidentally there have been suspicious packages found at Dollar General on Wardline, and Sanderson Farms. Both on lockdown.

Also a car got hit by a service vehicle on the train tracks near Cate Street Seafood today.

Edit to correct the train situation.

I was getting my info from the wife of a Tangi Sheriff.
But yes, you are right. I was incorrect.

Black dude, white sunglasses, wearing what looks like something black (kevlar vest?) over white shirt.

Drives grey jeep suv up through the cash registers.

Approached by the guy filming and driver yells at him and immediately reaches into the passenger seat area, looks to be fumbling around for something, maybe a rifle?

Guy filming sees the threat and runs through the store helping folks find another exit.

It was a joke. Don’t be so sensitive. You can’t deny that Hammond is both of what I described.

Sounds like the basics are nutjob ran his car through the entrance at Target, jumped out of his car and said “listen up”, apparently made some bomb threats at some point, Ran out of the store and was tased and apprehended by police with no shots fired.

So did he commit a crime driving through Target? I don't know what the rules are anymore?

La juju parody account was hilarious. That thang is destined for stardom. Very convincing portrayal.

The reason I asked this question is because my mother and daughter were near there. They went to Ross, someone came over the loud speaker in the store and asked everyone to leave because they were closing the store because they had an active shooter in the area
Ross is nowhere near Target FWIW. It's on the other side of town

Car crashed into the location with a bomb inside of it. Do not think that bomb detonated.

Was sent by a direct relative who is in law enforcement.

Edit: I did not see the link above confirming this.

Don’t know if it’s been said.

I’ve been receiving news from a former Tangipahoa Parish detective, he’s been informed by a current TPSO employee that the guy they apprehended is a disgruntled former Target employee who happens to be mentally ill.
