Anyone who remembers how quickly the Soviet Union fell apart should realize what's coming.

Who would be at war with who? Red states vs. Blue states? Most states are usually divided and more purple than red or blue.

Could we see civil unrest and incidents like the Capital Kerfuffle but with more planning and deadly intent? Sure. Our political and business “leaders” could definitely be at risk. But you need a more well defined and segregated set of enemies for a war.

Its unfortunate that the minority gets the majority of the attention in these times.

Yeah, really. Abortion doesn't affect me personally. The national debt will bankrupt my children but I've got my F-350 and my 4,000 square foot nowhere house. Who cares if kids in public schools are injected with hormones? Public schools are for poor kids.

I'm coming for people like you first when it goes down. At least leftists have principles.

If Americans were smart, the civil war would be between the actual people versus media and politicians.

But most Americans are not, and swallow every bit of media and politician talking points, dividing us and telling us to hate each other.

...and it's working.

They distract us with all the left vs right bullshite

To disguise us from the fact that 0.00001% of people own 80% of the money of the world.

Some people struggle to pay rent in their studio apartment working two jobs… while someone floats around the Caribbean in a $500M yacht with butlers and buys influence in politics to keep their system going.

Anyone not on the far left is considered right now. All independents and classic liberals. They are the radicals. Nobody else is.

Who is the "far right"? What institutions does this faction control?

Universities, entertainment , tech, media, news etc. Are all controlled by the "far left".

The greatest trick the left has played is making people think it's "both sides". It's not. It's not both sides. Only one side has major institutional support.

Notice how the BLM riots and Kavanaugh rioters received 1/1000th the coverage of the Jan.6th people? No idea how you haven't figured this out yet.

Is the Joe Rogan issue not enough for you? He's not even close to right wing and leftist activists and politicians are calling for him to be silenced and removed from Spotify.

Again, there is no "both sides". Only one side has legitimate institutional acceptance and support.

This is true.

The “both sides” argument doesn’t hold water.

I’m talking about dumbass conservative people, like most everyone on the poli board, who says we need to exterminate liberals, and the ones who constantly suck Putin’s dick and believe we should have someone like him as a leader, and the ones who think Mike Pence is an evil man. And then on the liberal side, it’s Antifa and all those looney groups.

Most people simply want to be left alone and live their lives. It’s ways the fringes that cause the uproar. What this country needs is for the good folks that want stability and peace to rose up to these fringe lunatics that want nanny state like control on both sides and tell them to frick off.

Libertarianism is how the modern left was allowed to exist in the first place. You can't expect something to NOT fill the vacuum. At one time traditional values, even if loosely practiced, were agreed upon by the vast majority of society. This includes hard work, honesty, integrity, modesty, patience, perseverance,etc.. These values provided a backdrop for our cultural values to form even if they weren't directly acknowledged most came from a Judeo-Christian tradition. All of that is being thrown away now.

Now that's been thrown aside as outdated values its left a void to be filled by the new social justice rooted in CRT value system. Libertarian "just leave me alone" existence has no defense against what's currently happening in the U.S. and western world. It's not a philosophy that brings people together to fight against bad ideas and it's not a philosophy that can root out bad philosophies because it permits anything.

If you stand for nothing then really you allow for anything.
