So you’re building a new post office?

I’m about to do it myself. I know you may not have the time but it seems incredibly easy to sink a 4x4 in concrete and screw a box to it.

Are you building something special, like a brick mailbox?

I think we used The Mailbox Guy. Installed a black powder coated aluminum post and box. No problems. I think is was around $600.

I’ll come over. $2000. I’m busy today and tomorrow though. You’ll have to supply all tools and materials. If not, cost plus 20%.

I asked at the place that sold me a mailbox, and they gave me a retired guy's name. He did it for $85. They said contractors usually charge about $200.

I was happy to pay and not have to screw with the concrete and all. My neighbor decided to do his own, and it was a PITA.
