The law doesn't necessarily seperate right from wrong. The hell with taking responsibility for our own actions. Let's be irresponsible and say we were so irresponsible that we can blame it on a few idiots that just thought she wanted to frick them, since they weren't given the class on "how to spot a drunk slut and get her home safely."

I don't think we know if she wandered out into the road or if she was standing in the middle trying to flag down the next car (uber). I can see both happening.
I'm not defending anyone, but they're not charged with her death. The prosecution has quite a few hurdles to clear before they get a conviction, IMHO. I can actually see an alternate scenario. It was reported heavily that she liked one of the guys and was after him all night in the bar. She may have wanted to leave with him, have sex with him, and then Washington (who had previous rape charges) forced himself on her and raped her.
The BAC seems like the biggest win for the prosecution because of the way the law is written. But the video of her talking and even calling the driver gay because he wouldn't partake may have an effect on jurors. I guess we'll all have to wait and see how the evidence unfolds. It's a very interesting case.

Those 2 signs are definitely indicators in my opinion.

that area of road is not well lit at all and it was raining and people drive pretty fast on that road
I can see where a car could hit someone in that instance, now was the driver speeding which he could be charged for that

it was pitch black and vehicles have these things called headlights when coming at you.

Sounds like she was a pretty irresponsible woman who got herself into a situation that got her killed.

Was she already having sex with Carver when she said this to the driver? That would water down the prosecution case in a hurry.
