Sooooo random question...the head of NA marketing for Gillette is an Indian guy (who from what I can tell grew up in India). Thoughts on how smart it is telling American men how to be American men, and rear American men when not reared as one? Thoughts?
Nothing against Indians or foriegners. This isnt about race, but it is about how we have allowed people from other places to come here, and morph our thinking. Instead of truly forcing them to fundementally adapt to our core American beliefs. it's hurting us more than many will accept, and why socialism is so hard core since so many latin american countries push that mindset at the core.

Gillette made a terrible miscalculation with this ad. I have never been part of any boycott, but just joined dollar shave club. I will never buy a Gillette razor again. I am tired of apologizing for being a man, and do not want my son to grow up in a country that makes him feel like he should. frick all of this PC bullshite.

Socialism is a terrible economic model. But they don't fail because of messages like the one in the commercial. They fail because it's a terrible economic model.

So they didn't attack masculinity in general, just the "men will be men" excuse when it comes to respecting women?

That part was definitely silly
It wasn't like it was a huge kid beating up or bullying a little runt

Is the message they are trying to send even necessary? The ad should be about their product not projecting their liberal views. Never thought I would see the day where a shaving cream company would dive into politics.

Dorco's double-edge safety razor blades are really good, as well. They are in my regular rotation.
