The things they are criticizing are in fact toxic. That doesn't mean that all things masculine should be considered toxic.

No doubt, but let's say that's Gillette's intention. They're still responding to a "movement" who has far different motivations and the last thing those elements want are for you to raise good, respectful men.

Their response, if you listen to the dialogue in the commercial, is not to align with MeToo but rather telling men/customers, we're sick of having to defend ourselves against this shite.
