We aren't doing repeat motion like someone at a desk all day on the computer with bad wrist. (This is me, sometimes they lock up and I can't grip anything).
We are strengthing along with getting blood flowing to that area so no scar tissue forms.
All the older ppl in the gym, men and especially women with the best mobility all have been training their entire lives. Esp later in life.
I think hobbies like jogging are terrible for you in the long run. Cycling not so much.
I didn't study kinesiology or some other goofy thing to come to the conclusion that light resistance training leads to better mobility later on in life.
I could be wrong, idk.

When you get old, it is like a house, and all the stuff you accumulate over life.
Probably also helped that I was a jack of all trades and master of none and in my youth only sleep like 2 to 4 hours in a 24 hours cycle. Also help being raised in the South where eccentric people were cherished and not modern social media where they are not.

One of the only irl cats I ever liked was one of AA's. We called him Mr. Popo, after the only black character from a show I love. He was the only black cat in his litter.
His mother just recently passed away a few months before Nymeria. When the boys pray and give blessings they say Nymeria and her are in the sky.
I was getting one of them dressed the other day and someonetimes I just begin tearing up because I love them so much. Oliver in the sweetest voice asks "what's wrong dada", I just said I just love you very much and miss Nymeria. He then tells me it's okay because Nymeria is in sky.
