Howdy skil!

Pretty much any coffee cafe is upscale to $bucks, but did they happen to serve something like these where you were?

#me2

I used 2 smoke a pack r more a day. Quit and got addicted to the nicotine gum 4 a couple of years and finally I said frick’it and quit that too.
It was easier for me 2 quit the cigs then it was the gum.

Now, I don’t miss any that nasty cig stuff, even a lil bit.

This saddens me

Is Louie's still in business? Has to be at least a decade since I last set foot in there. One of my favorite food joints in BR.

The family that owns CC still have it? Did they have older family around Memphis that had a fancy sit down sketti joint with real de-lish foods for catholic eyetalian folks like me (before CC opened in BR)?

Not sure & TSS—-when I was dating a 18 or 19 year old who was 20+ years younger than me, the 1st night I met her, we went to Louie’s cuz that what she wanted. That was the 1st & only time I ever went there.

Ha, I've made similar for him before, but I make a full on berry compote when I have berries that are getting soft. I just stick them in a pot cover with water, add a little honey and cook it until the water has mostly evaporated. I will take that and then mix it with some peanut butter. Kid will eat it by the spoonful and put it on top of everything pancakes, toast, dip it with pretzels...

Smart kid.

Either of you have allergies?

If so, source your honey between 25 to 50 miles from where you call home. Try to get it raw and unrefined. A spoonful a day (not cooked) works better than store bought allergy medicine for many.

Seasonal on both of us. I get my honey from the farmer's market or from a coworker who's neighbor has some hives. Last time I ordered she asked if I was sure that was the number of jars I wanted.
