I work in the lumber industry. Almost every piece of spruce long length lumber we sell comes from the pacific north west. Almost all of our spruce studs come from overseas. Lots of moulding and primed trim boards are from Chile or China. Most birch and luan plywood’s are imports. Rebar and wire mesh come from Mexico.
So yes tariffs do affect prices.
