I guarantee that someone, somewhere, at some point during the administration's deliberative process concerning this change, said something along the lines of "the folks on tigerdroppings are going to lose their fricking minds when this gets out."

Aren't the IDs used to prove whether someone is a student or not when entering the student section? Seems kinda difficult if the tickets are in their real name and their ID is in the chosen name.

Yes and no. I've had to use my student ID as backup identification back when I was in school. I'm sure there were other things I could use, but having 2 photo IDs is helpful in certain situations.

I have 2 degrees from LSU but I throw those in the trash every few months when I receive them. They somehow even found me when we moved.
