Right but that group is created by the greater culture.
Men and women who freely hook up have kids then don't raise them. It's an issue in the poor white community too but a lot of section 8 is single mother's with multiple kids often from different partners.
Mainly though we need to be tougher on crime. Letting criminals back out is the big issue.
Car theft needs to be a long prison sentence.

As many others have said, this is a sad and unfortunate trend that I hope is addressed by the appropriate parties very soon.

fence off a perimeter around and including campus, must have a ticket, or purchase a special tailgate ticket to enter the perimeter.

This is the ultimate wet dream of the LSU Administration. They have openly said for years that everyone on campus without a ticket is “lost revenue.” frick that. I pay for that university with my taxes, I should be allowed to go walk around without paying a fee. They need to figure things out without making good people pay because of the bad.

Car theft in BR usually results in zero jail time. That’s a perfect example as to why this shite is completely out of control and it’ll be damn near impossible to turn it around.

The tailgating scene is dying

It sucks but it’s the truth

Games like Florida 07/09, Bama 2010/12 etc seem like a fever dream to me now

Why do you think good black people have to do something about a subculture we don't associate with? Just because you categorize black culture singularly doesn't mean it is. I get what you are saying, there is definitely a white trash subculture.

BUT here is the difference. They aren’t committing 50% of the murders and violent crime in this country and single handedly destroying cities.

I can guarantee you if a small subculture of white people were doing that we would vote to change it.

The question is why don’t good black people vote to change it?

Truth. Its not just what the OP is referring to. Its the massive tents and parties all over campus. The days of 10x10s with groups of 10-15ppl all over campus are dead. Everything is a massive party. LSU should restrict uhauls or tent sizes.

As for the problem OP mentioned. It is insanity to me that LSU and the city have not prioritized this area for a master plan and development incentives. Having a walkable retail/apartment development just off campus works in basically every other city. Control the uses, but make sure its an opportunity zone, property taxes abatement, tax credits, etc... Or develop a PPP between LSU, the state, and reputable developers that have done this in other cities. If you want a quality area of town you have to make it happen and not just hope it happens. That part of town being an amenity to the city and campus would bring such a better reputation to LSU and the city. People come here for games and have great time and leave with a positive experience.

Environments where marijuana smoking is openly allowed all tend to end up like this. French Quarter in Nola has the same problem.

Does anyone have a video of what “that” crowd looks like? I’d like to weigh my options to hand out there or not! Thanks

the difference is generally that white trash culture is predominantly rural and black trash culture is predominantly urban. We (non trash white people) can avoid white trash culture simply by avoiding trailer parks and Walmart. Please explain how non trash culture of all races can avoid urban black trash. Urban black trash is destroying the city indiscriminately; white trash only destroy their immediate environment

Section 8 is a blight on society and has single handedly destroyed more suburbs and communities than an invading army could ever hope to do. It’s an attack on people that have earned the means to move away from criminal elements by allowing those same criminals to follow into places they otherwise could not.

Section 8, along with gerrymandering, is one party’s way of creating districts that favor their voting requirements.

They just did this to help fund the arena project and additional safety measures on campus and this same board bitched.
