If universities wanted to fix this they could. They won’t though as teachers don’t read and grade papers anyways. They do the same by running it through programs.

Chat Gpt's thoughts on the subject.

As an AI language model, I do not have personal opinions or beliefs. However, I can provide information and insights on the topic.
Advertising for an AI that does school work for students raises some ethical concerns. While AI technology can be useful for automating certain tasks and streamlining processes, it is important to consider the potential consequences of relying too heavily on AI for academic work.
If students use AI to complete their schoolwork, they may miss out on the opportunity to learn and develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and other valuable skills that are essential for success in academic and professional settings. Additionally, using AI to complete schoolwork could be considered cheating, which undermines the integrity of the educational system and can have serious consequences for students in the long run.
It is also worth considering the potential impact of AI on employment opportunities and the economy. If AI becomes so advanced that it can replace human labor in many industries, it could have a significant impact on employment rates and income inequality.
Overall, while AI has the potential to be a powerful tool, it is important to consider the ethical implications of using it for academic work and to ensure that students are still engaging in meaningful learning experiences

This girls 15 min can’t be over soon enough
She is cute while she is young, but she isn’t extremely attractive
Good Lord, I totally disagree.
And when she opened her mouth to speak in an interview I was expecting it to be bad. I was pleasantly surprised. Livy is pretty articulate and seems smart enough to write her own essays without AI.

Make the student present the material and take questions on it..
You mean make college professors may actually have to teach as opposed to forcing grad students to grade for hours?

Can LSU expel her for this? They wouldn’t expel her of course, but seems she’s advertising for falsifying student works for money

Make the student write 250 word essays in class with pen and paper. The way I did it in ENGL 1001 and 1002.
So you want them to manually write tweets?

Does she not have an attorney / consultant telling her how bad this looks?

They absolutely should expel her, this breaks pretty much any student code of conduct at any university. She won’t be expelled though because of the time honored tradition of rules for thee, not for me.

The comments on her instagram are entertaining

I thought about this a few weeks ago. All of that anti-plagiarism software is going to be useless.
If two people put the same prompt into the same AI, will the output be vastly different?
I'm just wondering, will there be a way for teachers/professors to put their assignment prompts into a multitude of AI engines and get back a boilerplate that, although there may be some variations here and there, can show when that prompt was used through that AI engine?

Half of them are probably AI.

Student Creates App to Detect Essays Written by AI
quote:
a student at Princeton University has created a new tool to combat this form of plagiarism: an app that aims to determine whether text was written by a human or AI. Twenty-two-year-old Edward Tian developed the app, called GPTZero,
quote:
GPTZero uses two variables to determine whether the author of a particular text is human: perplexity, or how complex the writing is, and burstiness, or how variable it is. Text that’s more complex with varied sentence length tends to be human-written, while prose that is more uniform and familiar to GPTZero tends to be written by AI.

Doesn't Grammerly almost do the same thing? My son is in college but is finished with his English course and he said he used Grammerly all the time and it help him a lot.

Hell, just give everyone a degree of their choosing and move one. No one will do any of their own work evidentially. It’s the American way - AI will take over by 2040 anyway.

Did she use it to turn in an actual assignment? What specific code did she break?
