BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - As of this week, the principal of LSU’s prestigious University Lab School has been on paid leave for one entire year and there is no indication that will change anytime soon.
Frank Rusciano, who makes $144,347 per year, was placed on leave on January 3, 2019, amid a state audit of the school that raised multiple questions.
Auditors said the actions by Rusciano and another principal at the school “appear to represent an attempt to circumvent University management’s disapproval and University policy.”
Just dropping this here. Per WAFB website

This is why LSU can't afford to dredge the Lakes.

Think that's bad, there are schools, with class rooms full of NY City teachers, getting paid 90K+, to not teach.
They are so bad, but because of Unions and tenure, the City/State cannot fire them. So they sit in these class rooms for 8 hours, 5 days a week during school year.
90Kx20 to a room x 20+ rooms at the least. Liberalism at it's finest.

But the school’s budget is so tight they may have to shut down. They’ve tightened everywhere they can!

In the real world where most of us are hitting 40+ a week this shite would not exist for long. Pitiful

According to their website U High’s tuition is about 5k a year. Seems like a good deal considering Catholic and Parkview are more than $11k

There were a couple of Male, creepster looking tecahers in there, for banging 16 year olds. One even got a 16 year old pregnant.
Not only are they not in jail, but they are getting paid 90k to do nothing but sit in a class room, while waiting to retire with a full pension from the fine citizens of NYC and State.
They talked to a couple of the females who were in there, and they said it was boring, and wanted to get out, guy told them to find a new job, they laughed.

If what is being reported is true I cant imagine how he could not have known that his actions were clear cut violations of state ethics.

Ah, govt employees with recurring tax revenue.
It's the life.

Wait until the truth hits the news. LSU will do it’s best trying to ensure that doesn’t happen.
He and Myra Broussard will be paid well for the defamation built on a bunch of lies. LSU got greedy and tried to dip into the money at Uhigh. When LSU got pushback, they went for the jugular.
All of the “attempts to circumvent LSU management and policy” is a joke. All of the approvals for what they were doing was given by university officials and will be presented in their lawsuits.

Nice post Mr. Rusciano. Let’s talk facts. He and another top admin at the school wanted additional pay for running the after school program. They requested it through their chain of command at LSU and were told no. They are salaried employees after all. Rather than accept NO, they set up a LLC and told parents to start writing checks to the LLC instead of LSU. Anywhere except academia this is called fraud and theft.
He has been running his personal fiefdom at U High so long he thinks he is untouchable and can’t believe his bosses had the gall to tell him NO. He is a dick on top of that.

Yep I agree with you 100%. The fact that this is even being held up because it’s “pending” of the Ethics board is laughable. I’ve had to take that same mandatory government ethics training annually forever and that travel related stuff is ethics violation 101. Even accepting a fruit basket from a service provider is a violation. But this isn’t even an ethics issue. Fraud is a criminal charge.
This UHigh dickhead probably has dirt on some other higher education dickheads and this will never be resolved. LSU passed the buck to the Ethics board and they’ll stall forever and then give back to LSU. LSU will have to take follow up action either way. It’s been crickets since the story broke a year ago. Same bullshite as that LSU vet employee that was paid hundreds of thousands of dollars and hadn’t worked in years. Same bullshite as Alleva not being fired but being reallocated to some made up position for the remainder of his time. No follow up to any of those Complete LA politicking bullshite from top to bottom, left to right.

Alleman started a where to watch a game in DC thread 2 years ago, so we're probably looking at Frank himself. One of his other alleged LLC rackets was field trip money payable to he and his wife.

I've heard from someone who.... i'll just say has an association with the lab school and based on what they have said, this is not even close to the truth.
They pretty much made an after school program their business. They created a LLC and took the money that parents had to pay for their kids to go to the after school program. And I am not 100% sure, but I think there was some other shady dealings.
Its really pretty sad that he is on paid leave.
