I know of 2 large donors who have stopped. They don’t want it made public because they like the recognition but they aren’t giving anymore.

Really not sure how LSU is going to make it moving forward without three guys splitting the cost of some football tickets.

Incredibly stupid post.

If you want to hurt a university like this, you do with money. Don't donate, don't pay for games, merchandising, food at games, etc, and then they'll pay the price.

Other than tickets all other donations from me are on pause until I can see where this is headed. If it goes in the direction a lot of people fear i will drop all contributions.

This is where I am. I have seat relocation for season tix early next week. I won’t do anything that increases the cost of my tickets, then will see what happens in the next year.

Do enough really watch that closely or are most donations sort of on automatic as an annual act? LSU has taken progressive actions over the last four years. Have any donations been lost in any significant number?

I didn't graduate from LSU, but I have degrees from 2 other SEC schools. I stopped giving either of them money two years ago. I still give money to my high school and the school where my kids go

disagree

i'll reserve judgement to see what the new president does in the first year or so. i refuse to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

the guys track record as an administrator at Carolina is pretty exemplary, If he can be well liked in SOUTH CAROLINA, he can thrive here as well.

So irregardless of anything, you bend over and just take it (or let them take it) until you have nothing left. You definitely don't belong in a foxhole. You'd get everyone killed.

I think it’s ridiculous to totally stop supporting the university that you love because of this, or really anything.

Blind support does not necessitate change.

If you chose not to donate directly then that’s your choice but even that is only hurting the kids and the university’s stature.

Seems like LSU is doing just fine on it’s own hurting it’s stature. If they start doing something stupid like lowering admissions standards because diversity, or any other insane critical race rhetoric, what kid with a future would want to go there?

As an alumnus, it’s unacceptable to see my university headed in this direction. And in 2021, the only thing these people seem to listen to is dollar bills.

At this point, you’ve got to be an idiot to donate your hard earned money to a university. You’re supporting overpaid professors to indoctrinate students. Not to mention the amount of TAX DOLLARS that go to fund these schools. frick them. Donate to your high school or some other worthy cause.

I've stopped donations, but this is dumb to me. I worked my arse off for mine...it came before the time of the holistic bullshite approach...upper level psych and neuro classes were tough as shite, I busted my arse to make a name for myself with the faculty and worked my way up on some pretty big time research that was being done on campus at the time. Nothing Tate can do can take away or devalue what I earned.....it might devalue what others earn in the future, but never what I earned.

Always one guy bragging about how unfazed they are. I guess it’s some kind of an Internet alpha move.

He was simply not the most qualified candidate. He was hired 100% because he’s black. Do you expect a critical race theory scholar to come in and God the University in a positive direction?

Can you give us some details if you don’t mind?
I’m not trying to call you out, I’m just honestly curious I would like to know if there is anything I’m missing.

I stopped giving after I went to a game last season and they forced everyone in the stadium to kneel during the national anthem

It was ok to stand during bitch I’m from Louisiana and the song about the pedophile truck driver though

We make the lsjw grad in my office clean the toilets so he can check his privilege. The rest of us graduated from The University Of Louisiana and you can tell our education is vastly superior due to it being the flagship school and not having to take 4 semesters of diversity classes

This never happened. They can’t force you to kneel.

I stood up and took my mask off for the anthem and lsjw security screamed at me to kneel and stop being a trump supporter
