I’m so glad we recently became a solid red, small govt. state.

It’s starting to pay off already.

I hate when law enforcement lies.

Just say "we are stepping up window tint enforcement because there are a lot of hood rats who drive cars with illegal tint."

They were more honest with the license tint: "We need to be able to read your license."

Window tint is also one of the PC's for stops when the drug enforcement guys are out and about.

LSP is one of the most useless org in this state. They’ll be sure to get that expired brake tag!

We can't have 25% tint yet cops will have 5% all around on their cars.

Doesn’t hold water as an argument for safety. Same tint that’s illegal in LA for “safety” reasons is perfectly legal in TX and FL.

Lets focus on tint, not the fact that almost half the cars on the road in LA dont have insurance

But it doesn't hinder visibility when it's on a police officers vehicle

Makes perfect sense.
Not a money grab or anything like that.

With all this global warming, why won’t they allow us to protect ourselves?

Big Daddy govt please reconsider this rule

My question is why even do a news story? Wouldn't it be more prudent to just say they are doing it internally and then surprise everyone with tickets? I think on some level they are trying to be transparent with this.
