There have been a bunch of them in the Prairieville area. They'll usually have three patrol units pulling over a single car. There must be something else going on bigger than basic traffic tickets.
Yeah, a lot of schools are in full swing this week meaning more people driving. Good way to pump those numbers up

Hell ALOT of depts in Louisiana dont even report stats to the FBI.
That’s coming to an end. No data no grants. I know of one agency about to lose a 50k grant because they haven’t been submitting.
LSP is pissed at the legislature for getting rid of inspection stickers. They claim they are losing out on $30 million a year in fees and tickets fees. Wouldn’t surprise me to have troopers nailing people to send a message.

They have to make up for the current lack of inspection sticker revenue.

You mean actually having to do the job they’re hired for?

I've said for years, no way Airline through AP should 65mph with the amount of businesses and intersections they have. 65 means 70-75mph to a lot of people.
Troopers love to set up between HOF church and HWY 22 on airline. Setting speed traps at 5am when no businesses are open and nothing but work traffic.
They'll post up the same area in the afternoons to catch the same traffic coming home.
