LSP shooting radar everywhere lately

Anyone else seeing this in their area? Been a heavy presence everywhere i go for the last few months. Seent many a baw pulled over.

There have been a bunch of them in the Prairieville area. They'll usually have three patrol units pulling over a single car. There must be something else going on bigger than basic traffic tickets.

This happened in Covington yesterday, An older Honda Accird or similar was behind me a good on 190 southbound. We passed a STPSO on a corner. He pulled out behind the guy and popped his lights on. Next I notice is 2 more cops behind him show up with lights on and all pull him over.

Felony stop. When multiple LE pull up behind a car pulled over, it indicates the registered owner is a felon when the license plate was originally scanned or was ran through the onboard computer's database. LE does this as a safety precaution.

You will notice narcotics arrests will shoot up as well.

A lot of this lately is due to removing illegals from the country IMO.
What I cannot answer is how the local LEOs are working with ICE in removing illegals from the country through ordinary traffic stops, misdemeanor crimes, etc.

I saw a Texas baw get pulled over today by LSP going over the Sunshine Bridge. Dude was flying when he went passed me. Rookie mistake spending over the Sunshine Bridge

I've said for years, no way Airline through AP should 65mph with the amount of businesses and intersections they have. 65 means 70-75mph to a lot of people.
