LSD/psilocybin(mushrooms)/ketamine are the future of depression treatment and they work. Really, really well.

I mean if depression sets in why not a little LSD to see things differently. Side effects include hallucinations, staying up all night(it's a party) and a rash ( I made that up) count me in.

Really disappointed to hear that the government is letting “sad” people get high on illegal drugs and making safe effective medicines illegal basically
My cousin is on disability for fibromyalgia and when he has the treatment for it he lives a normal life and can go work his job as a charter captain but when he doesn’t have the medicine he gets so sick he can barely get out of bed, he can’t eat and can’t hardly get off the toilet and has cold sweats. To see what fibromyalgia will do to a healthy man is heart wrenching
The worst part is that the government has made it so hard to get the treatment he needs to stay alive. He has to go to like 8 different doctors to get the OxyContin he needs just to live

My late SO had severe treatment depression. She had surgery after a car wreck and when she woke up she felt better than she had in years. My theory is she had some ketamine in her anesthesia.

Id like to see specifics on the trial, and how was administered; placebo, etc, but this sounds promising.
