How does it cost almost a dollar more in BR where we refine half a million barrels a day and are 70 miles from the Gulf?

It's still not lower than $1.19 in BR. I bought it for $1.39 in Port Allen last week. Probably the lowest I've paid since I started driving. It got pretty low under $2.00 in 2015 but not down to $1.39.

One time Tuscaloosa had just about the lowest in the country, competing with stations in South Carolina.
Now, Tuscaloosa is about $1.50/ gallon, which includes a rise of 10 cents/ gallon of additional state tax added recently

Taxes. And just wait until JBE gets that special session with all of the RINOs in the State Legislature. They're going to get .20 cents per gallon from this poor arse State.

You can bet your arse they're going to hike the gas tax. "Now is the time" they'll say. In a few years when it's over $3.00 again we sure as hell won't lower it.

That would be our good ole gas tax our Dem leaders rely on.

LA residents pay $0.38/gal but currently trying to increase it to $0.56/gal pending some new bill

But in comparison...WI pays $0.33/gal so something is not adding up

state and local taxes added to the price of every gallon of gas

it varies from state to state from 50 cents to as much as $1.50 a gallon just in added taxes before the price of the actual gas is added

Costco & Sams

I don't think it'll slide any lower than $1.09 though.

What is the local tax for EBR? From the 2 minutes I have just done of research it says that EBR did not get a gasoline tax approved back in 2018

Push to let East Baton Rouge, others enact own gas tax fails in House panel

I applaud the first gas station to add the 9/10 to the end of their price. I wonder how much extra money they make off of that small little bit. Like Superman 3.
