Lafayette parish president posted a conference will be held at 530 but not sure if its a local one for here or a state one with governor.

Without a concerted effort at containment, it's only a matter of time before it spreads to Lafayette. Remember when people thought this was only a China issue?

So, he’s not going to let anyone besides doctors or grocery store people work for 2 weeks?

I’m getting the feeling that by 7pm tonight we’re going to have some pissed off people in this state. I think we’re about to take drastic measures.

Exactly so if it happens it'll be a lock down based upon what? Popularity, pockets greased?

Yeah....I don't trust these people enough for them to have that kind of power.

I'd kinda understand if the recovery rate was shitty, but that's not the case.

I wonder how most will react? Furiously typing on their keyboard or bucking the system?

I’ve been told to work from home which is fine. But I’m less productive so whatever.

Husband is a farmer — he’s planting rice and will be at work. I’d say he’s essential considering rice couldn’t been found at some stores. Although this crop take a while to come to the public.

I know alot of farmers that would love to see someone try to tell them not to work their crops for 2 weeks...

I know I will? I'm not the one melting over reasonable precautions.

That won’t happen. I mean they can tell him but he’s going to work.
