What road construction company do you work for, and why does it suck?
Seroiusly, why does every road construction company in this state suck balls?
I swear it must take y'all 2 hours to watch 60 minutes?
In other states, the road companies work at night, on weekends, in the cold, etc.
Here, if the weather is anything other than 72 degrees, daylight, and cloudless... y'all take a week off.

Will update this thread with which vendors have the best freebies at the expo
Bonus points if they hand out light bulbs to replace all street lights that Entergy let die.

Wow they are putting roundabouts on Washington st. What a waste.
No more on/off lane from Acadian to college on I-10. Gotta go on Perkins.

I can't wait to ride on the Alton Sterling Memorial Greenway underneath the new Washington St. exit

"We have a robust statewide signing program that will inform folks to avoid Baton Rouge"
Big laugh from the audience.
Odds this guy posts here?

Check out what Amarillo did with the I-40 and I-27 junction - we need more of that. No stupid cloverleafs, no stupid left lane exits. I've been watching the traffic flow through town during 8a and 5p traffic since I'm in a hotel nearby, and it's immaculate. Zero traffic backups.

I’m in innovative safety design for all users. It’s a party in here

The little 4 cylinder half ton pickup truck represents Louisiana's transportation infrastructure. The boat represents Louisiana's economy.
We are relying on an inadequate network of highways and drainage infrastructure, and we are constantly flirting with disaster. We aren't the biggest boat on the ocean, but what we have is far too big for what our infrastructure can realistically handle. A mild speed bump could bring us to a dead stop.
We are getting a shitty return for what we pay in taxes and generate in GDP.

Love the improvement when they talked to a whopping 125 people on what they want at Washington st. Can’t wait for all that stuff to become super shitty looking in a year.

Is this another event for the private sector to meet with / entertain our politicians? If so, didn't we just have a similar event with Washington Mardi Gras?

frick you. Texting my baby momma, my boo, my kids, my probation officer, my moms and my boyzzzzz is far more important than my staying within your arbitrary "lines".

People playing on their phones while driving, and since they're not paying attention to anything but their phone, they constantly tap their brakes just in case the person in font of them is slowing down, but they can't be bothered to look up from their phones to see if in fact the person in front of them is slowing down
Yep. And frick this person with a cactus.
