Feels like a good legal precedent for the many groups and individuals whose basic rights were trampled on. I hate lawyers but i hope they smell blood in the water

Lawyers also achieved that precedent, so let’s not forget that.

Good.

Now can every business that had to shutdown because of Edwards actions sue the state as well? I sure hope so.

Walmart and Home Depot can stay open but all locally owned businesses had to shutdown? It was always bullshite and I hope these people get paid.

When are we going to stop letting one individual bypass congressional support and make unilateral declarations that are looked at like laws?
If I were in congress I would fight this every time for any parties candidate.

Funny story. The first amendment protects freedom of religion AND freedom of assembly. Even if he was not practicing his religion, he has a right to assemble with whomever he pleases and so do you.

Met Pastor Spell when I had to submit proof from my "religious pastor" in order to get a covid vaccine exemption form (yes, the covid vaccination mandate is still a thing for Healthcare). Within a day he was able to meet and we discussed the matter in person. Guy couldn't have been better or nicer to the point that the gf and I donated to his Legal fund, glad to see this.

This is why the churches disappointed me the most over the past 2 years. They could have ended this, been triumphant, and seriously swelled their members, influence, and coffers. Instead they caved. People needed leaders, and their natural ones just laid down.

Some did just that, including my church. Our attendance has risen dramatically.

Scruffy completely agrees with Spell too.

So do I.

Covid histrionics were just another case of affluenza where white housewives thought they could control the rest of the world.

As annoying as that guy is, JBE and his minions are worse. This is a victory for freedom.

Shame on ALL the churches who left this man out to be on his own cause they didn't want to offend their little or grand congregations. Took money from the government and hid in their big houses. From Catholic to non denominational. Shame. Cowards!

what a time to be alive, when we have to wonder if our leader has the courage, the guts, to speak an objective and obvious fact.

Which is controversial today. People hate truth.

Definitely the right decision. Just too late for it to matter much after the hysteria has died down.

Agree. If there’s no penalty, gov will just frick over our rights again next time and take the lawsuit 2 years later with no repercussions.

The problem is that the "penalty" is paying off the aggrieved with our tax dollars. That doesn't do shite. Politicians not only don't mind wasting tax dollars, they love it.
