I see more troopers in NOLA East where it's 60 mph than anywhere else...

I don't think St. Bernard is bad about speeding... Never gotten a ticket yet there

Port Barre is the only 1 on that list that got me. Went to pay the ticket and saw they have a damn drive through window you can use to pay tickets. Only good thing was they don't put them on your record. They just want the money.

Washington is the fricking absolute worst about em. Krotz Springs when you're crossing the bridge over the Atchafalaya is pretty fricking bad too.

I always thought it was funny they would speed trap the interstate, but you wouldn't see a damn squad car in the actual NOLA East.

Yeah they're pretty bad, especially on LSU game weekends.

State Troopers said anything under 10mph over the limit goes to the state.

State troopers have nothing to do with it. They don't get any of the money from any tickets.

Clarence, just outside of Natchitoches, and Merryville coming over from Texas on 190. Both bad.

Back in late 80's I had to pick up some equipment at a rig in Winnfield on Christmas Eve. I had an F150 that was loaded and was pulling a trailer that was loaded as well. I had to floor the damn thing to get up and down the hills and was barely over 45 at any given time. I get pulled over in Dry Prong by the Chief of Police telling me I was going 8 miles over the speed limit. When I tried to deny this he told me I could spend the weekend in jail and plead my case to the judge or pay the fine of $165 and go on my way. No way I was going to spend Christmas in jail so I pay the fine. When I ask him for a receipt, he tells me if I want a receipt, I could stay in jail and get a receipt when the court would be open after the holiday.

I 20 in Ruston and just east of Arcadia is stupid with cops. Sterlington too. Might as well bring back video poker. We're just taxing ourselves.

Personally, I think unless a motorist is driving dangerously on the Interstate leave them alone. When you are driving across several states 80 mph is not an unsafe speed anymore. Any modern 4 lane highway should handle 70 easily. Improve ramps and build more service roads instead.
