Will they only test emissions if you live in the five parish area? Or is it still a full inspection? I’m tired of needing to replace windshields annually to pass inspection because rocks manage to frick up one of our cars. I’m at the trashy point in my life where I’ll just roll with a crack.

Texas paper plates still an issue? I havent seen as many when back in the state.

Texas doesn’t do paper tags anymore as of late last year. It’s a garish metal plate.

Landry is an 11/10 when it comes to LSU athletics and about 2/10 everywhere else.

Landry is a failure.

Louisiana is the most expensive for homeowners insurance.

Louisiana is the #2 most expensive for auto insurance.

Louisiana ranks #46 out of 50 for roads and infrastructure.

Louisiana ranks #41 out of 50 states for K-12 system ranking.

Louisiana is the 3rd least educated state in the U.S.

Landry is also ruining one of the most precious resources in Louisiana by supporting the menhaden industry.

We need a strong candidate for Governor to oppose Landry in 2027.

It's a full inspection but the 5 parish area emission testing must still be performed in these parishes requiring you to go to an inspection station .The rest of the state will just get a QR code in the mail and not need to go to an inspection station.

You're correct, Louisiana has had abysmal political leadership which has caused the state to lead in all the categories listed; however, I do hold Landry accountable as he campaigned on resolving many of these issues.

It will get him re-elected. He knows most Louisiana people don't care or aren't smart enough to understand economics or education. Bread and Circus.

I haven’t gone to an inspection sticker place in over 14 years, and won’t be going to one ever again, and I live in EBR-uh.

Inspection stickers are so archaic. It seems like such a 1980’s outdated thing that they just need to let go of. What would they do if every single person in the state just refused to get one? It’s just such a sad attempt by at a money grab by the state.

Understood, and the problems are so deep rooted here I don't believe anyone can fix them.

The extremely poor public education system will always be the anchor that takes us down, as well a significant segment of the population that refuses to accept responsibility for their actions.

Well that’s how the retarded Cajun got elected. Keeps the retarded populace happy with everything that doesn’t have anything to do with legislating. You know, what he’s actually supposed to be doing. Insurance rates are high as giraffes pussy, economic development sucks, infrastructure sucks balls, on and on and on….. Hell though, we got the coaches we want! Hell yeah!

he hasnt even been in office that long

1) he has done a really good job on economic development, do some damn research

2) yea insurance rates are high...do you think the governor has unlimited power and just waves his magic wand to make it go down suddenly?

3) yea infrastructure sucks....are you under the impression that is started sucking suddenly under him and he isnt doing anything to help?

but hell the dumbasses of the OT have made up their minds already with zero research

now frick you for making me taking up for jeff fricking landry. thats how bad your argument is.

but since you are so smart, please please point out the exact policies he asked for that have been passed that make the state worse. please im very interested

I believe he had a hand in getting LSU's leadership changed and getting rid of those ridiculous admission (lol) standards.

LSU was becoming a joke, and if he helped fix that, fine.

god damn it, here we go again

1)_ auto insurance....why do you think its so high and what laws should be passed to make it go down? oh...you mean like everyone should have insurance...yea already a law. at some point you have to understand that certain segments of the population do not care about consequences and do not play by the same rules

2) landry can only do so much so fast on infrastructure. jesus yall act like he was supposed to wave a magic wand in the 1st two years of office and make all of the problems go away

3) education- made huge strides in terms of scores especially once race is accounted for. im talking mississippi type strides.

as far as least educated state....how the frick is that on landry? seriously he has been in office for a little over 2 years and you think he is going to change that? you must be on the side that is pulling that stat down because that is stupid AF

i dont even like landry and yall have me in here fricking defending him. Completely unrealistic expectations and think the governor is king and just wave a wand and suddenly all things change.

you are never going to change the crime and education stats so long as a huge portion of the population does not value those things.

also helped get the I-10 bridge in LC started

has done a good job of continuing to bring in LNG and tech including the data centers.

you have insane expectations. he isnt a king, he cant just implement everything he wants. he can influence sure but state house/senate still hold a ton of power.

It's not the public school system that is the issue, its the people attending the public school.

Frick Landry.
raised sales tax 0.55%.
boat purchases over $200k no sales tax.
named Archie Chaisson III executive director newly created Office of La Highway Construction.
If he was serious about highways/bridges he’d named an engineer or someone with highway/bridge experience, rather than stupid fat mouth Chaisson.
stopped Mid-Barataria Sediment Diversion Project.
Alabama game November 9th live tiger.
Oct 24, 2025 declared state of emergency to pay snap b/c federal government shut down.
If he was serious about auto insurance, he could try to stop all the PI commercials. Like 50% tax on these commercial. Tax the lawyer’s fee, frick do something!

That’s partly true. The school systems are at fault in the way that they (don’t) deal with the people you refer to and their parents. That permissiveness filters right up to the criminal justice system. One word could fix 90% of the problems: accountability.
