When you are holding your signature drives in small town bar rooms in backwoods Louisiana what the hell do you expect....especially during COVID when everyone has been conditioned not to go to bars.

It was a joke.

Budget will propose raises for K-12 teachers ($400) and support staff ($200), more money for higher ed. 'We know teachers deserve more than that, but it's another step in right direction,'

Well I received the Pfzer vaccine and so far the evidence show that it still works against the B117 variant and reduces transmission of the virus by 89%. So governor honor code can kiss my hairy arse right next to the dingle berry.

Going from 7.25 to 15 dollar minimum wage will kill the Louisiana economy and he is to stupid to see it. The loss of livelihood will be far worse then the hoax.

He has nothing to do with the federal minimum wage.

As someone with a spouse who's a teacher, why even bother with such a small amount. That's enough for lunch after taxes each month.

What metrics were used to determine how much more transmissible these variants are? They have been telling us for months that there would be a holiday spike. And there was in almost every country in the northern hemisphere (winter time) where Christmas is celebrated. The US rate per 100,000 was still far higher than the Brits was during December and January. Just wonder why it has to be that the UK variant is more transmissible and not just the winter/holiday surge that was expected.

@LouisianaGov
said he has supported an increase in minimum wage every year and supports a federal increase.

"we're one of just a handful of states that don't have our own minimum wage," said he'll write a letter to state congress asking for increase

Say goodbye to most jobs for HS and college kids too. It's stupid to set it at the national level. $15/hr is way different in Picayune, MS vs Chicago

Read the Israeli study that was recently published in the NEJM for yourself. I do not have time to explain it because it is time that I wipe my butt, put my pants back on, leave the bathroom, and get back to work.

Complete automation here we come. I would say unintended consequences but these frickers know exactly what they're doing.

CBO already said this will cost millions of jobs. Politicians are so fricking stupid it boggles the mind.
