Lol. I get that you’re a miserable prick who works some crappy engineering job so you can’t fathom this, but most of those guys are making 10x more than you. A lot of them either own transmission/mechanic/body shops or other businesses in the automotive world and they’re bringing in $500k+ easily. I love how goobers who work in the corporate world think no one makes more than $70,000 doing anything other than being a little underpaid pencil pusher

Exactly. City folk don't understand how rural folk live. They think we're poors. The hardworking entrepreneurial rural baws can make more disposable cash than the city boys.

Doubtful on the loans, Oilfield cash is paying for those rigs.

Must be why those places are constantly going out of business and changing ownership.

This. You aren't spinning those big arse tires and popping a wheely without 1k hp.

Haven't been to Colfax but I've been to mud races with the same trucks. There's alot of money tied into those rigs.

The ones that are going out of business aren’t building $100,000 toys. Most businesses started each year “go out of business or change ownership”, that doesn’t change the amount of money that the successful ones make

Same as restaurants, furniture stores, car dealerships, hardware stores, Hell even my dentist’s office has changed hands twice since I’ve been going there.

Quit being such a poosy. If you can't have fun drinking beer, hanging out with good ole baws and burning fossil fuels in mud holes then maybe you're just a miserable person

Reminds me of the dumb joke when the dude is like conservatives like to have fun. They have boats.

He was talking about the trucks having 1000 horse power. He never mentioned anything about $1,000.

Perhaps in your haste to be condescending you should check to make sure you are comprehending what the person is typing first.

Did they improve security?

Two people--a 14 year old and a musician who was on stage--got shot there in 2021 when multiple people fired into the crowd.

The park across the Sabine river has a big weekend and charge 80 per person. They have bands and what not. There's money in mud.
