I’m sure that is some nonpartisan data.
Also didn’t we do tort reform under edwards?
Just like our insurance rates are highest thanks in part to the same group. Guess that is false data too, crewdepedo?

Careful.....John Carmouche may try to sue you for libel.
John is not above threatening that on those who criticize him publicly

Didn’t JBE pass tort reform like 6 years ago?

Legal, demographics.
This is one instance. How many other 3 billion dollar instances were lost over the years?
All that Houston wealth?
That was LA's in a different world. Too many people to pay off, outweighs the regulatory and tax structure because brother in law gets paid on top of all that.
Is the denham springs Disney rumor true?
How's the positrac on a Plymouth work? It just does.

Not surprising when you have a Trial Lawyer as Governor.

Okay...now go back in time when Nola could have been the hub for Delta and possibly American..

With regard to the comments about John Bel Edwards, the thing that surprised me was that he actually signed the Republican tort reform legislation in to law when he could have vetoed it. Mike Foster and Bobby Jindal couldn't get that stuff through and JBE was the one who let it happen.

There are 6 states worse than us???

The way LSU is getting in bed with the scum bag injury lawyers really has turned me off of LSU athletics.....one of the worst blights in a state full of blights.
Our state would suck either way, if we can at least win some championships I’ll take their blood money…

We just had tort reform. Now if you get in an accident, you recover less than you did 3 years ago.
The republican legislators would never commit to a stated reduction in car insurance rates.
My car insurance rates are higher than ever.

When the governor is an ambulance chaser, you know there is a problem.

"Unfortunately, lawsuit abuse continues to impact Louisiana's citizens, businesses, and overall economy – specifically in its two largest MSAs," said Lawsuit Abuse Watch executive director Lana Venable in a news release. "Our civil justice system exists to determine liability and provide a means to settle legal disputes, but an overly aggressive system is damaging to our economy, creating impediments to productivity and economic development."
Yeah, but our NIL programs are pimping.

Cars cost higher than ever and guess what when one gets damaged or totaled it costs more to fix it or replace it.
It’s called inflation. Throw in medical bills and lawyer costs an auto accident can be a real big deal.
