He was supposedly trying to facilitate a dialogue. No wonder he didn't try the Poli Board, much less hazardous to your health.

We better not pay a dime to get him out. Someone needs to be made an example of. If you go to a known country that is an enemy of the US or is known to house terrorists, you are on your own.

Well, in his defense, I’m not sure I would have assumed it was illegal with respect to South Korean law.
I mean, it’s not like the US authorities would care if I just strolled into Mexico.
