Moved back to Louisiana.

6 month vehicle insurance premium went from $580 to $1700.

Where are you? We're south of I-10 and in 2005 after Katrina/Rita Farm Bureau dropped us for wind/hail so we had to go with Louisiana Citizen's. I have to say our Hurricane ded is 2% and changing it wouldn't lower our premium much.

It is what it is for us. Can't relocate the farm.

You can thank Skronisha, Propecia, and Skrontarvius who all won the ghetto lottery with the help of Gordon.

Why did you leave New Hampshire? They gave you two options: Live Free or Die. Not "Live Free or Die or Move Back Home"

No it doesn't. We thoroughly enjoyed our more than 50% cut across auto and home when we left LA. Same damn company, just far fewer uninsured drivers and no hurricane upcharge. And the house is worth more.

Yes because Louisiana is known for it's extremely reasonable insurance rates.

Wait weren’t you the one who incessantly bitched about Louisiana and was so adamant about leaving and never coming back? Why’d you move back then?

You can thank many people for this. In no particular order-

1. The likes of Gordon McKernan, Dudley DeBosier, etc.
2. The shitty drivers/people they represent who are only looking for a payout.
3. The trial attorney association.
4. #3's buddy's in the legislature and JBE.

We did the same thing. But our auto policy went from $650 a month to $740. Had to change carriers since Farmers doesn't write in Louisiana.
