I just went out in the yard and collected some ice. Running out of water to flush the toilets . Just wish our water would come back on.

My 70 yr old dad decided he wanted to fall backwards in the snow. Said it was his first time since he was in his teens. Haven’t seen him smile and laugh like that in a long time. Of course it’s in slow mo.

Our snow layer is gone. Now we have a few inches of ice covering the ground that looks like snow after all that freezing rain yesterday. Brutal to try to walk on.

Well it did take him about 5 times to get the courage. We got around 17 inches here and it’s basically powder.

Is this band of snow in Texas going to make it to Louisiana in the form of any precipitation?

I just got out in Shreveport for the first time and the roads are an absolute nightmare. Covered in a compacted layer of frozen precip. Like driving through the worst pothole filled road ever. Semis being diverted off the interstate and getting stranded on surface streets.

Out of ten houses in the hood, 2 have pipe bursts that required main water shut off.

2 more have had pool pipe burst despite it running and lost all the water.

I'm just waiting for my turn.

I'm eyeing two spigots that I think will do me in.

I didn't get out toward Youree. Theres plenty of 4x4 baws hooking their rigs to Semis trying hilariously to pull them up icy hills.

Just slalomed past Lee Michael’s on Youree.
Hope I can get some to eat at Carrabas or Chili’s.

looks like it's hitting a mass of dry air and fizzling at the border.

Highway 80 in Haughton was a standstill last night. There was a video of a guy on a tractor pulling semis up the hill just West of 157 one at a time.
