That sucks.

Woke up this morning and the pool level was down.

Seems like the most meaningless PVC pipe burst. Shut the valves and shut the refill but a more than a few hundred gallons on the water meter.

Still leaking out from the pool but has slowed. I think it will stop soon once water gets past the skimmer.

About to fix this thing myself if it doesn't.

It's funny how 44 degrees would normally be a cold day but it's 44 degrees right now and it feels really warm.

Shreveport had front end loaders clearing the snow today as it was melting and would have been gone within a couple of hours. Complete waste of time accomplishing noticing but backing up traffic. Why they weren’t employed days ago is too difficult a question to ask the leadership. Complete clown show.

When people get their electric and gas bills next month they are going to lose their minds a second time.

Does the mayor have outside contractors working on the water issues or only city employees? Not hearing much info on details. Pretty vague. So inept.

Saw something today that said we might get another round of winter weather around March 1

AEX was at or below 32 degrees for 133 straight hours during this cold snap

that destroyed the record at that particular location of 98 hours at or below 32 degrees back in December 1983

records have been kept at AEX/England AFB since 1943

GFS showed some backside of a cold front snow for northern Mississippi but nothing for Louisiana. But now it doesn’t show anything after the most recent run.

That probably wasn’t going to come to fruition and wouldn’t have been a big deal anyways because those after cold front backside snow events never pan out in the south. The air is too dry post front for that backside moisture to reach the ground.

To get good southern snow you need cold temps in place and lows to approach from the southwest. Like we got two rounds of last week.

It's 57° in Shreveport which after the last week is basically summer so I'm outside grilling and drinking a 3 beers.

In the week where I experienced record breaking snowfall and cold temperatures I am also using my air conditioner. WTF
