There is. I wouldn't think it would clog the system that fast but it's possible. He'll the waste water might be frozen.

If you’re out of electricity and freezing temps your aerator won’t work and your pipes will freeze up.

that dude. Plug your nose and keep on licking

I will attempt to work on HVAC, electric, cars, construction, whatever.

But it takes a lot to get me to voluntarily put human shite on my hands that I eat with.

He has quite the vocabulary and a certain way of putting things. He's usually always entertaining. Check out some of his other "vijayoes" if you've never watched him. He does some great tear down and review videos with tools and stuff.

You very well may be right.

It pumps the air after it drains into the tank. So wondering if that would stop it from getting TO the tank.

On a side note I wouldn't be surprised at all if the sprinkler heads and lines are frozen, maxing out the tank

Just a PSA - do not give honey to babies under 1. Botulism is real.

He has and that’s why I worry. He had an accident (not job related) and never regained full motion of his wrist. Iirc the OT told him that he could be declared disabled due to lack of use/function.

Shits gotta hurt in these temps.

I’m sure that they could all use a break in disasters. We ALL can.

so the media has started comparing the Texas situation to Katrina and "Katrina" is even trending on Twitter - is it really that bad over there?

it's pretty fricking bad

it's bad here, but i was able to go to walmart yesterday morning before the rain and stock up on water and get a picanha, etc

i also have a gas stove and our power came back on

TX is running out of retail food, water, and they haven't had consistent power for days. most homes there are on electric heating also

Those two hurricanes through here in the fall took out all the bad trees and saved us from mega power outages today.

the hurricanes + getting more snow than freezing rain completely saved LC's power grid. i was so happy to wake up to snow Monday

No.

Trying to drum up images of purportedly ineffective GOP management to flip Texas blue and turn attention away from the utter failure of "green" energy to handle this situation.

Do we have any idea when water is being restored to LC?

If your power is out, your pump for the sprinklers is out too.

no

I'm about to dump out more of my blue buckets today that have dirt in them for spring planting because it's going to get into the 40s today and will be sunny tomorrow. no rain means no runoff for toilet tank refills. need to load up today

I think this is the case for me also. Every power pole on my road was broken from Laura. We didn’t lose power for Beta and yesterday. Laura turned to be our savior.

people tried to make this into a political situation when it's just a shitty situation that really doesn't have a proper response

there are lots of extreme emotional reactions/responses and policy dreams, but they're just not realistic

since the political response has been so anti-GOP, Biden has to be quiet because he can't really do anything, either
