Storm 2 beginning to roll into North Central TX. Looks like the track will be a bit farther north than the first one, but more snow/ice for some areas nonetheless.

wait... the utility company actually referred to the winter storm by the BS name TWC gave it?

I think the blockage was in the 4-5 inches outside of the brick wall.

Demco relies on weather channel app for all of their weather information, it's the most accurate and up to date app you can get

I'm listening to all the ice melt travel down the gutters
sounds like a torrential rain storm right now even though the skies are blue

So pipes froze yesterday morning in Central Arkansas. Used a space heater to get it thawed.
Just noticed that hot water is coming out a little red-ish brown. Anyone have any idea about this sort of problem

This is the strangest snow I've ever seen. It has been snowing light/moderate all day. We've topped out at the balmy temp of 20° and have only had sporadic sunshine. Yet, I have no idea where the snow is going. We have had a consistent dusting, despite cold temps and consistent snow. Strange. It is also the driest snow I've seen.

You got well water? Most likely rust or something similar in water heater. Just keep running water?
Posted on 2/16/21 at 3:36 pm to Eat Your Crow
Sun still hasn't come out here and it's 30 degrees.
Posted on 2/16/21 at 3:43 pm to jaytothen
Hasn’t been above 30 today on BR and have yet to hear a thing from LSU about school closures for tomorrow.
