So either people in Chicago don't know where to shoot, or New Orleans trauma surgeons suck.
I remember listening to talk radio in New Orleans last summer when they were discussing this topic. They had some crazy streak where every shooting was a murder, like a 100% kill rate for over a month. They quoted some city councilman jesting that every murderer in New Orleans must be a trained assassin with Oswald's bullets.

Oh yes, I'm aware. I have a BIG issue being lumped in with the animalistic behavior of the criminal element.
That is useless information- other than reminding us we have a ton of shite bags roaming our areas- and should take steps to protect ourselves.

if it is strictly a poverty thing, then show me the white equivalent of chicago, detroit, new orleans etc. a place where white thugs are running around shooting each other.

That brings up another question, why don't poor country folk kill each other? There are tons of poor whites in Appalachia, but we don't see NOLA-esque per-capita murder rates? Why don't we see anything approaching those murder rates in poor rural African American communities like the Mississippi Delta?
