My company isn't even beginning a phased return to work until we get an average of 5,000 cases per week in Louisiana. Even after that it will be rotational until the employee base has reached "herd immunity". Looks like WFM until the summer.

260k initial doses. JBE said plan was for 2.8M which means we are right at 9%.

Last 2 weeks they have done approx 3% of this arbitrary goal, which means we are about 30 weeks from JBE's goal.

We haven't been headed in the right direction in 50+ years.

To be fair...once some of the next wave of vaccines like Johnson and Johnson come out (which requires one dose), the pace should pick up considerably.

Should.

What does testing have to do with hospitalization rates?

Plus, now that Trump is out of office Amazon decided to help distribution.

they've actually slowed back down. they had gotten the rate up to about 20k/day but have gone back down into the 15k -ish range per day. I don't know if its because they took MLK off, or they ran into supply issues. Not trying to explain the dip, just noting the dip.

Many people have been tested several times. Testing numbers mean nothing really

Might have been due to the medical community getting theirs and nursing homes. Ready made groups that logistically would appear easier to distribute to.

That will be good for those that want the vaccine. I just wonder if they really think they will have 60% of the population wanting to take the vaccine
