Do you think the slope change in the graph on the number of cases is the lack of testing over the weekend or a real slowdown in the growth of cases??

It’s testing. Virus has been around for months. The variable is testing effort.

With the delay in getting results, the weekend slow down shouldn't be reflected yet.

No, backlog of over 3000 tests are supposed to be announced tomorrow. Except case numbers to jump - not because of extended spread but because of delayed results.

The veracity of these statistics are akin to posting a totally blind person on Times Square and asking them to tell you how many people are in Times Square.
These numbers should not be termed statistics, they are snapshots.
Trying to track the spread of a virus which shows little to no signs in a goodly percentage of those infected without overwhelming correct testing data makes this exercise more like groping the dark than science.

ONE data point makes it appear to flatten..last night's. You cant assume anything off of that single point

On Friday, it was taking several days for results to come back. That wouldn't change on Saturday.
So, even if they did slow down for the weekend, those tests taken yesterday and today won't be in until Tuesday or Wednesday probably.
