Anyone else surprised they keep posting the data, even though the deaths in the fully vaccinated are rising, and quick AF?

I see it posted more here than anywhere else. I am really only surprised so many people keep looking at it and complaining about it being available.

I'm okay with showing how much of a non-issue this is. 6 Covid patients on ventilators in the whole state despite 1500+ new cases.

This is endemic now. Like the flu or the cold. You are going to catch it....but chances are you'll just need to stay home for a few days and take it easy. And you'll be fine.

Look at this shite

68% of deaths fully vaccinated

Before someone says "that's just one week"... it's been like that week after week for a while now.

This is in a 54/46 fully vaccinated state so there's not a big vax/unvaxx gap driving those numbers.

Get the vaccine or we'll ban you from working and public life. But 70% of deaths will be vaccinated.

Deaths have been falling since January. To say that vaccinated deaths are rising "quick af" is disingenuous. The vaccinated death rate isn't a reliable metric any more because the overall death rate is pretty negligible.

Not a bit. They have to appear like they are keeping us safe for when they lock us down 10/1/22 in time for the elections in November

At this point, it's mostly just the extremely vulnerable who are at risk of death.

That's not to say that catching it won't suck. But it appears to be far less serious for most people than the earlier variants that the vaccines were geared for.

It's probably safe to assume fully vaccinated includes more elderly, immune compromised and other comorbidities. Healthier and younger individuals were probably least likely to get vax'd.

its pretty fricking reliable to the people who are dying.

and its equally as informative to every motherfricking Covidian who was pushing the vaccine and calling for punitive measures for the vaccine hesitant- like a certain Lake Charles lawyer who posts here. As well as the likes of OweO, Salmon, Spleen, Nurse and the rest of the sky screamers.

My six month old has COVID pneumonia. Not exactly getting better - may have to be hospitalized. shite sucks.

Agreed though that generally this is a non-issue and needs to go away. It’s here to stay and people just have to deal with it.

If younger people aren't dying and the virus is spread evenly by vaccinated and unvaccinated people it highlights the insanity of the vaccine mandates. People need to be hanging from trees over the covid vaccine push.

They are also the most vulnerable of simply dying. They usually have multiple health related issues. As long as they test every death for Covid, they are going to have deaths.

There was always around a 99% chance you would survive this virus.

JC, man. You really need to breathe or a heart attack is going to get you well before covid.

I didn't say it was unreliable. I said the death count has become negligible. There hasn't been a day with more than 10 deaths statewide since March 11th. The cohort is too small to draw any meaningful conclusions about Vax vs. Unvax death totals.
