29,140 active cases
1,950 deaths
17,303 (recovered as of 4/26)

9,887 Active cases based on data provided. Enter assumptions

Recovered data is 6 days old. 21 days from 4/26 is 4/05. New cases:
4/06 - 1,857; 4/07 - 1,417; 4/08 - 746; 4/09 - 1,253; 4/10 - 970; 4/11 - 761

2,883 Active cases
1,545 in Hospitals
1,338 Cases not in hospitals

Recovered data is 6 days old. 14 days from 4/26 is 4/12. New cases:
4/13 - 421; 4/14 - 502; 4/15 - 433; 4/16 - 581; 4/17 - 586; 4/18 - 462

6,902 Active cases
1,545 in Hospitals
5,357 Cases not in hospitals

Conservatively the cases of people not in hospitals is somewhere between 1,338 and 5,357

Obligatory: The 14 & 21 days guidelines are given by ldh and based on when the patient tests positive. The information that we have readily available is when the positive test result is known, not when the test was administered. In addition, the date of the onset of symptoms does not matter either.

Couldn't give two shits about the case numbers. Hospitalizations are still going down.

I wish they’d remove those in hospital that can’t be released because the LTC facility won’t let them back in until they have 14-days of no symptoms/negative test. Apparently that’s a significant # of hospitalizations currently.

Why can’t they adjust the positives to the day the tests were performed vs when the results came back? Surely that data exists and would be more informative.

Can't keep us shut down indefinitely that way.

This dude has us in such a Catch 22. Our numbers are going to be so damn low it will be impossible to not have a “spike”

don't you understand thats the point. he's been talking about a "re-tightening of restrictions" for the last 10 days if cases spike again.

It is but the data is not comparing apples to apples every day because they extend the amount of tests at random. It would be comparable if the same amount of tests were performed and then revealed each day. The sample set every day is inconsistent and unreliable IMO, and I’m no statistician.

It exists. But they aren’t reporting it on their main page.

It’s being shared somewhere because Jeff Ascher is compiling it.

Jeff is a great follow through all of this.
