I understand and do appreciate your info. I just hope the powers that be aren’t sitting there thinking we can justify extending the saho because these two regions appear stagnant.

She had something scheduled for tomorrow but I guess got word that the State was moving on a schedule different than hers.

I appreciate the feedback. This is a little different version that shows the daily increase as a ratio of the population in the region so they are all scaled the same.

In Louisiana, ICE has detention contracts in Basile, Ferriday, Jena, Jonesboro, Natchitoches, Pine Prairie, Plain Dealing, Richwood, and Winfield.
Ferriday & Jena are the only 2 in region 6
Not sure about jails
Avoyelles, Catahoula, Concordia, Grant, LaSalle, Rapides, Vernon, and Winn are the Region 6 parishes. Winnfield is in Winn Parish.
I've heard there were a large number of cases in Rapides at the Pinecrest Developmental Center, but I can't find anything on it other than an early report of 8 cases in April. That's why I was asking about facilities in that Region.

Oakdale which I guess is the pine prairie prison has been bad as well as all ICE facilities.

Region 6’s scale might be tiny, but Governor arse-hat will still use their increase as an excuse to extend the statewide stay at home order.
He wants that Fed money.

Still waiting on that uptick from Easter.

I would bet against any additional extensions. Sure, they will recommend distancing, masks, clean hands, lower customer capacities, but there won’t be an extension of the general orders.
I don’t have inside info on this one, but I don’t see it happening.

Missed Winn
If we were doing this the right way & providing transparency the # of cases & # of deaths would be broken down by general public, nursing home staff / residents, detention center staff / inmates & if you want to get even more technical include healthcare staff.
