2 weeks after Memorial Day and it's one of the lower new case counts in recent weeks

IDk what to even say anymore.
Louisiana is Phase 2 for 3 weeks, right?? Starting last Friday? That means we'll "maybe" go into phase 3 right before Fourth of July.
Y'all enjoy 50% capacity at Chili's boys.

Those defiant Memorial Day Weekend gathering deaths will be posted soon. I just know it!!
JBE is holding them a bit longer to make sure, I guess.
Flag Day celebrants however, are gonna rue the day they decided to socially congregate when they’re face down on a convention center respirator, paralyzed for the 4th of July.

Welp, my Grandpa is probably getting kicked out of nursing home
I went to drop off some snacks & while I was waiting for someone to answer the door a car pulled up
A nurse walked out & took a pizza from the driver
She went to carry it in & I asked what she was doing
She said it was her lunch
I asked why it was ok for her to bring in outside food but the same pizza couldn’t be delivered to the residents
She didn’t have an answer for me
I told her I wasn’t being rude but their rules don’t make sense & make things more difficult for the residents

I guess we'll have to wait 2-3 weeks after the last protest to see their affect on new cases.

First protests were 10+ days ago

But the first ones weren't as populated as the ones mid-week last week. LaToya will not be bullied by stats.

Tuesday test dump imminent
Posted on 6/8/20 at 12:32 pm to musick
They dumped close to 9,000 tests today. That’s a lot. Only a 2.7% positive rate though. Lowest recorded.

That's a VERY valid question from you ... and let someone try to kick him out ... and just tell me why YOU can bring snacks to him BUT you can't have a pizza delivered to him??
Because I'm "like that", I'd consider calling and asking someone in administration why a staff member can have food delivered and you can't have the same done. It's MORE than a valid question.
Any idea how testing turned out over there??

Last 30 Day and Since Inception Rolling Averages, for comparison:

They are on their 2nd round of testing
30 residents positive since mid April, no jump in positives after 1st round of testing
All rooms are private which I think makes a huge difference

Still waiting for that Memorial Day spike.

It's always "do as I say, not as I do" in these situations.
