there were multiple protests in LC
i don't even think the reports/studies about protesting not causing an increase say the protests didn't cause spread, they argue that the protests scaring a huge population off the streets caused an offset that didn't lead to net spread

it's also not a real study and even admits there was likely spread among the protesting population
the big thing seems to be yutes being social inside (like bars) and spreading it among themselves and then to family at home

Everytime someone has linked that study showing no increase those two caveats are the first thing I look for.
The people who did the study basically said that there was spread, but othet factors caused a case increase not to happen.

Eh, people were only scared off the streets in tiny parts of a few cities. They just went out and did their thing in the parts of the city not full of morons

What’s the ratio of total hospitalized for total active cases and then you’ll know if there’s cause for alarm.
Also, check out the ratio of new cases to total new hospitalizations.
It all points to the fact that the current wave of cases is amongst the young who are able to handle it.
As long as the older folks take the necessary precautions, it should be okay

If hospitalization didn't lag from diagnosis and infection this info would be a lot more useful. The 7-14 day lag in both of these categories means we are constantly guessing what is going to happen instead of knowing.
