At the absolute worst we need to stay where we are without a scolding but a “continue to do what you’re doing”. What should be is a congratulatory tone with phase III in the horizon.

Right?? To ones waiting for negatives to go back to work, the LDH has urged that employers not request these ... at least based on what was on our City of Abbeville page. I'm working from home so I'm just curious if people are having to have these neg tests.

Y'all post here after JBEs conference today -- I appreciate those that can stomach it because I can't. I just can't
All JBE is going to say is that the numbers are looking better but still are concerning and alarming. We must remain diligent in our efforts to flatten the curve. No plans as of now to move onto the next phase.
SWB will simple say.... blah...blah... yak...yak..screech..... mask!!!.... Br'r..... blah...screech....yak...screech... better together.

Found out that my Grandpa is negative from at least 1 test, maybe both, they are not informing residents or family unless they are positive

I'll be 51 in 9 days. I take a statin more for my family history and a little carotid blockage as well as thyroid meds. I am NOT overweight ... I am NOT worried about getting this virus. God will take me when He wants me from this, or something else. No one is getting out of this life alive.

Great on the first part but BOO on the second ... every resident in our facility is notified of a test result, neg or pos as is their RP.

I post this in every daily covid thread and I know you, LSUJML, are not responsible for this, but I am so pissed they use numbers and stats for everything except dates of tests. Again, mosts

Month of July
12,056 positive cases out of 137,226 total test for 8.7 % positive rate
Since 3/9/2020
70,151 positive out of 865,737 total test for 8.1% positive rate
Shut it down
Really getting tired of all the doom and gloom over 8 out of 100 positive case average

That’s 8.7% positivity rate, not 0.087%

But it is under the magic 10%

I agree. Just want proper numbers
