Increased from 3 to 15 in a week according to local website. Not great.

The whole list by region (LDH website)

ICU Bed usage only, vents available by the dozen everywhere.

Region 1: 338 in use/231 open (New Orleans)
Region 2: 174 in use/81 open (Baton Rouge)
Region 3: 41 in use/50 open (Terrebonne)
Region 4: 131 in use / 45 open (Lafayette)
Region 5: 71 in use/ 17 open (Lake Charles)
Region 6: 88 in use / 34 open (Rapides)
Region 7: 297 in use / 115 open (Shreveport)
Region 8: 127 in use / 56 open (Monroe)
Region 9: 97 in use / 72 open (St. Tammany)

I also have no insight on why the total listed ICU capacity of the Lake Charles area is the same as the more remote areas of the state.

I get downvoted for saying "Not terrible. No need to panic."

Pretty much all I have said. 87 gets pissed at me for pointing out that deaths are a lagging indicator, same as they were on the way down, and will likely increase since more people, of all ages, are being infected.

You are also not taking in consideration the fact doctors have more proven and better treatment options available now then when the virus first hit which should factor in to a lower death rate.

It's kinda strange, many people don't have a setting in between "Election driven hoax about the sniffles" and "Panic!!! we're all going to die, why are all of you wreckless people trying to kill everyone?"

What ends up happening, in their mind, is everyone just gets assigned to one of these 2 groups, regardless of what your actual position (and motives for said position) may be.

Honestly, excellent synopsis.

I have tested positive 4 times . Does that mean I'm 4 active cases. Hmmm. How much redundancy here

This seems incredibly irresponsible behavior in your line of work.

Amos I’m still working from home.

Are you going to work and then home and that’s it?? I refuse to do that. I’m doing nothing wrong or illegal and wont not live life.

I avoid older people I see in stores; I sit alone in mass other than with my family separated from other with skipped pews. Restaurants are spaced out and typically we sit outside. What else can I do??

Actually, I’m not even home at this point. Left for a second time after we had positives pop up at work last week.

If she is working from home I don't see a problem. If she is going into assisted living facilities I could see a problem.

I assumed she was back in-facility, my blunder. And I didn’t say wrong, I said irresponsible.
