So a light day on the removal of duplicates or out-of-staters, eh?

Rate is lower than that. Only 11,323 cases in July.

How is region 4 looking? I have surgery scheduled in about 3 weeks.

Found out that my Grandpa is negative from at least 1 test, maybe both, they are not informing residents or family unless they are positive
That’s awesome news. Yeah, notifying only if positive is kinda standard practice for us right now. Dealing with severe staffing shortages and an influx of families with questions. Trying to keep everyone as informed as possible but our plates are full.
We tested late last week. Have about 90% of staff back with only 1 additional positive over last week so far. No resident results returned yet.

Region 5 (Lake Charles) ICU beds only tight spot on the LDH website.
Increased from 3 to 15 in a week according to local website. Not great.

Obviously not handling it well. I have never seen a bigger continuous melt than that person has been having. It is an absolute heater

I get downvoted for saying "Not terrible. No need to panic."
I guess the downvotes are because some think it is terrible, or there is a need to panic?
