Well neither of you can read because the stats were even more skewed for SULC for first time test takers

Because 8 is a solid sample size...

Care to elaborate? I'd venture to say over 75% of the state students are retakes because they failed in July. February stats are always fricked up.

Based on the LSAT/ GPA indicators that law schools use when admitting student, SULC does a much better job than LSU. LSU takes student that have on average a 155 or higher LSAT with above a 3.3. GPA. SULC takes students with LSAT scores in the 130 with GPAs in the 2.0s. LSU should outperform SULC every time just based on the type of student they accept. When you compare student with similar LSAT and GPA, SULC outperforms LSU. Simply put SULC does much more with less.

That's a really long way to say you didn't get in to LSU.

You do realize that only the true names are posted when the person is fully qualified. A person taking the bar puts a false name so in case they fail or need to take the MPRE the world doesnt know that they failed.

Mine was FNU SNU.

I got into and graduated from LSU. However, I do work with SULC's law clinic. So I'm speaking from both sides.

If I didn't get into LSU I'd go to SU over paying 130k for Tulane or Loyola.

Your numbers are close. I was responding to the comment that all February takers are ones that flunked in July. I was just pointing out that many part time students graduate in December.

Yes, the February stats are not a good indicator.

I would have done the same thing. 200K in debt with those schools or 35k in debt ar SULC.

A client as never asked me where I went to school either! Just pass the bar baby!

Can the graders see your alias, or is it matched with your ID number later? I just used a boring name when I took it. It seemed strange to have a ridiculous name stamped on my answers.

Southern has a good law school. This isn't news. Been that way for a long time.

Do not insult the school. Southern is the Harvard of the South. Do you not know about their stellar legal writing program?!?

It wasn't long ago that LSU would have a bar passage rate in the high 80s to low 90s. Then a movement began to make the law center a boutique law school that would get higher national rankings and attract more out-of-town students. An upriver Tulane, if you will, even though the law center lacks the resources to be a Tulane instead of a state school which churns out competent lawyers. Hopefully, Galligan can get it back to its roots.
